Dr Merhi’s Journey to Becoming a Fertility Doctor

I grew up in Lebanon, a country defined by resilience. My father, a poet and economist, taught me the power of stories; my mother taught me compassion—reminding me always that “the secret ingredient is love.” Watching my sisters, both physicians in the U.S., inspired me to follow a path of healing and hope.

When I came to the U.S., I first pursued gynecologic oncology. But witnessing the emotional struggles of women facing infertility shifted my calling. I realized they needed more than treatment—they needed hope. That realization led me to reproductive endocrinology, where I could help restore both fertility and faith.

Opening Rejuvenating Fertility Center (RFC) during the challenging times of the pandemic was a bold step. My vision was serving women over 40 who thought IVF wasn’t an option and to create a space where every woman feels seen, heard, and empowered—where personalized care and innovative treatments give new hope to those who’ve been told they can’t conceive. I understand the emotional weight of infertility, the sleepless nights, the tears of frustration, and the deep yearning for a family. That’s why I am committed to walking this journey with my patients, turning their dreams into reality, one family at a time.

Although Dr. Merhi has served Manhattan residents as an award-winning Fertility expert for Two Decades, he has seen the shift in demands from his patients for excellent fertility centers (using non-conventional treatments) outside of the major cities. WHAT ARE THE SUCCESS RATES AT RFC?

RFC’s success rates of 59% surpasses national averages of 43%. RFC offers tailored treatments for every patients especially those with low AMH, high FSH, PCOS, or those who are poor responders to conventional IVF. Since 2020, RFC has helped over 25,000 patients and been reporting highest success rates yearly in the country. RFC has 68% success rate for IVF with PGT and 69% for women under 35. Emphasis on affordability and personalized care is our main mission. RFC will work with patients to use their own eggs where many other clinics push egg donation right away.
